What a profile holds, how to apply one, and what the warnings mean.
What a profile holds
A .astral file: the plugins’ settings, the Editor’s layout, the theme and its fonts, and the game’s HUD layout, hotbars and macros when they are included. Nothing in it names your character, and paths on your machine stay out.
Applying one
- In game:
/astral get CODE. - Desktop app: Open in Astral on the profile’s page, or Get by code on the app’s Profiles page.
- File: download it, then Import on the Profiles page or
/astral import.
Every part is listed before anything changes; untick what you don’t want. Astral takes a backup first, so your old setup is one click away.
The warnings
Astral reads every profile before you apply it and lists what could change more than looks:
- plugin repositories it adds and plugins it installs
- chat rules that change or block what you send
- aliases and macros that run commands
- web pages it shows in game
Nothing is refused for having them. Read the list and untick what you don’t want.
Sharing yours
Export it on Astral’s Profiles page, then upload the .astral as it is, with up to six JPG or PNG shots. Astral’s scrub reads it first, and it is listed once checked.
